Pooping means excreting the dirts in the body. But in every poop there is a hidden meaning.
There has been some study that tell the meaning of your poop about your health.
Changes in bowel movement can be because of the unhealthy diet, when one’s body is fighting an infection or virus, or when one’s body has a serious condition.
Dr. Eric Esrailian, section head in general gastroenterology of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, stated that “Bowel Movements are important for your health because they are the body’s natural way of excreting waste from the body.”
Dr. Bernard Aserkoff of the GI Unit in Massachusetts General Hospital said that bowel movements is color brown because of the bile produced in the liver.
The actual normal poop has a smooth and soft look and should be long and uncut. It has a shape of “S” and the texture should be equal or even.
Different kinds of poop and the meaning in your health:
1. Small and hard and lumpy
This kind of poop is a sign of axute inflammation in the small intestine. This poop usually look small, abrasive and solid looks. With a length of 1-2 centimeters.
This may happen to people who intake antibiotics and this can cause anal bleeding.
2. Sausage-shaped with lumps
This kind of bowel movement can cause anal bleeding, and it has a length of 3-5 centimeters. This happens mostly to people who suffer from IBS, or irritable bowel syndrome, according to the Medline Plus.
3. Sausage-shaped with cracked surface
This is similar to number 2, but the difference is that this is release by one’s body a little faster.
This poop has a smooth appearance and soft texture. This poop is actually normal and common to people who defecate once a day.
5. Soft blobs with defined edges
This kind of poop is common and normal to people who defecate more than once a day, especially after eating.
This kind of bowel movement has a similarities with the diarrhea poop, however, this only happens in conjuction with constipation. This is a sign that the body is suffering fron a disease or conditions but it depends on what color it is or its odor.
7. Black or bright red
This tells that the poop is bleeding the GIT or gastrointestinal tract, the stomach and the intestines.
8. Fluffy poop with ragged and torn edges
This poop is soft in texture qnd may indicate that a person has blood pressure or stressed.
9. Pale brown or white
This tells that the person have hepatitis, cirrhosis or even pancreatic disease.
This stool only tells that one has a gallbladder issues.
The smell of poop can also tell if someone has a disease or condition. Poop can be very helpful as well to identify one’s health.
